2013 - Resolution

It has been days since I wanted to write my resolution for the year 2013. Oh yes, I am back to Blogger and connect it with my Google+, hopefully I can write more in this year. Looking back, the last post was in the beginning of 2010 and that was 3 year ago!

The other day in office, I heard from my top management that they enjoy reading at my Facebook with all the happiness shared. I think it is really encouraging and I am here to watch myself and impact people in a positive way. It motivates me to keep writing.

Okay, here it is, my resolution for the year 2013 is to make a "Simple Living". I forgot how this idea came to my mind but I am really making it a serious decision and will follow through it for the year 2013 or even longer if I see the big value in it which I believe I will. Reflection is always very effective at the end of every year so I did mine and I realized that I have BOUGHT so much stuff which I wanted but I did not need, and the whole process gave me stress, and anxiety at times. I am going to stop this happening. During the Watch Night service in church, Pastor Dominic shared that our identity is not what we do or what we have, our identity is "all of us are son of God". In my opinion, we don't need so many physical things to reach our satisfaction. It does not mean that I am going to buy cheap stuff or live a bitter life. I am going to consume whatever I have and whatever I need (NOT want) to make life more meaningful, in terms of fully use those things to benefit the house and family.

I have my wisdom teeth removed yesterday so I am on MC today resting at home. I cannot talk or eat much but I can write and do my de-cluttering. I went through my clothes and packed a few bags of clothes which I am going to recycle, I may donate or submit to Salvation Army. I will share more about the process in the coming days.

Hope you all have a good 2013 start!
